- Crucial to better prepare students for the challenges of adult work and daily life and advanced academic work
- Based on learning taxonomies such as Bloom’s Taxonomy, SOLO Taxonomy and/or Barrett’s Taxonomy of Reading Comprehension.
- These taxonomies are classification of levels of intellectual behaviour which provide teachers clear learning objectives to be established in their pedagogical activities.
